Fête du Void will be held April 12-13, 2019.
Main Venue is the heart of the festival where you’ll see performances, check out the vendors, and explore all kinds of activities. And it is where you will be camping. It opens at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 12, and stays open until Sunday, April 14 at Noon. When you enter this area through the Front Gate, you must present your magical wristband and keep it on at all times.
The Campgrounds open at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 12, 2019. The Front Gate will CLOSE Friday night at MIDNIGHT. That means you cannot enter the festival until Saturday April 13, 2019 at 8:00 AM.
Campgrounds close at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April, 14 2019.
Our festival site is the beautiful 40-acres of Peters Farm, located in Cypress Creek, about 40 miles South of Alexandria, 75 miles North of Lafayette and 190 miles northwest of New Orleans. Please, consider ridesharing—it helps reduce parking congestion, traffic, saves money on gas, and the Earth will love you.
The address is 1535 Peters Loop Oakdale, La 71463.
Yup! The official 2019 map will be released the week before the festival. We will post in on Facebook, Instagram, and The Iceman Special’s website. Cell phone service will be sketchy at best (especially Verizon), so you should download a copy of the festival map to your phone or print a copy it out before you come.
As the Boy Scouts say, always be prepared! Here’s some pointers on how to enhance your camping experience. Just because we’re camping doesn’t mean we are roughing it.

Peters Farm is beautiful spread of land that we are blessed to share with you this year. As with most land in Louisiana, this land is not perfect. With that in mind, we’ve done our best to make the grounds as safe as possible. That is why we highly recommend you stay on the paths, which we have created for you that will be easy to see during the day and lit at night. The ground is uneven, has hills and some holes; it is also home to a few horses and other wildlife.
We don’t want anyone to get hurt, so PLEASE WATCH YOUR STEP! At night, you should be using a headlamp or flash light.
Exit & Re-entry
Although Fête du Void is its own little universe, we’re surrounded by the real-world town of Oakdale, Louisiana. With your cooperation we can make sure we’ll be welcomed back in the future. When you’re walking outside the festival grounds, remember that you are Out There— please follow all roadway and pedestrian rules while be respectful of our neighbors and their property. Show them some love.
IN AND OUT OF MAIN VENUE
Want to take a mid-day nap? No problem. Once you check in at the Front Gate, you’re in, which means you can go to your campsite at any time and will only need to present your festival band again if you leave the festival grounds completely.
IN AND OUT OF THE FESTIVAL IN A VEHICLE
We hope you won’t need to leave our little paradise during the festival. But if you do, please wait until Saturday evening, unless there is a serious emergency. It is best to arrive on Peter’s Farm with enough supplies to last you the whole weekend.
DURING THE FESTIVAL
Lose something at the festival? Head to the Info Booth (there’s only one) to see if your item has been recovered.
If the Info Booth doesn’t have it, you shouldn’t give up yet! Email us at email@example.com with LOST ITEM in the subject line and let us know in a message what you’re missing!
We make every effort to create a safe and secure environment at Fête du Void. On-site security and medical staff will be available. If you need any assistance, go to the nearest Medical Tent or ask any Fête du Void staff member for assistance.
WHERE: There will be a Medical tent located in Main Venue located next to the Info Booth.
Lots of things can happen at the Void: bee stings, ant bites, whiplash from dancing like Disco. That’s why the Main Venue is home to a Fête du Void Medical Tent, staffed by our medical volunteers.
If you are injured and require further attention, we will have a vehicle on standby to bring you to urgent care or the hospital; if it is a serious injury will call emergency medical services.
WHERE: You can find a sheriff’s deputy at the Front Gate and our staff roaming through every campground, at the entrance to the Main Venue and at all the stages, as well as throughout all of the Main Venue.
Our staff is trained to help make sure everyone has a good time and stays safe.
All vehicles may be subject to search upon entry to the festival at the Front Gate (which you should definitely keep in mind when deciding what to bring).
Please don’t buy from unlicensed vendors. There is lots of great stuff to buy from official Fête du Void vendors, who deserve your business, because they have made a real commitment to support Fête du Void.
Emergency Vehicle Access
Our road might not look like a city street. But for emergency and maintenance vehicles, it does the job as long as you keep them open. Which is what we ask you to do. Please park in designated areas and don’t drive around the site. Walk on the sides of the road, and please let all official vehicles through.
By purchasing a ticket to Fête du Void and entering the property, you agree to the following:
